Mason-Dixon LED Co. (“we”) installs permanent outdoor lighting in South Central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. This policy explains what information we collect through masondixonled.com and when you work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you send us: your name, phone number, email address, property address, details about your home (such as size and what you want lit), photos you choose to upload, and any notes or questions.
- Estimate calculator choices: if you continue from the Rough Estimate Calculator, the footage, mounting choice, and estimate range you saw are sent with your request.
- When you become a customer: quotes, signed agreements (including whether you opted out of photos for marketing), job details, invoices, and payment records.
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, prepare an estimate, schedule visits and installations, and support you afterward.
- To send quotes, agreements, invoices, and updates about your job.
- To text you about your estimate or job only if you ask us to. Tell us any time and we will stop.
- To keep business, tax, and warranty records.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Photos of your home
Photos you upload are stored privately and used only to plan and quote your job. Photos we take of finished work may be used for marketing as described in our agreements, without your name or street address, unless you opt out.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, only for the purposes above:
- Website hosting and security (Cloudflare)
- Secure data storage for our customer records (Supabase)
- Payment processing (Square), which handles card details directly; we never see or store your full card number
- Email delivery for notifications
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep request and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax, and warranty obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop texting or emailing you. Contact us using the details below.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
